The school (BOSOMTWE GIRLS’ STEM HIGH SCHOOL) is a new institution built by the president of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to give young females education on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to make them creative, innovative, inventive and original thinkers for themselves, their communities and the country as a whole.

The school officially commenced on the Tuesday, 19th April, 2022 with eighteen (18) students. We were fortunate to have the first visit of a dignitary, Honorable, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum on the 22nd of April, 2022, with 44 students. The President of Ghana believe that STEM education will enable the nation to nurture the right female students for this modern and technological world. This vision aligns with the demands of the 21st-century era, where STEM skills are critical for global competitiveness.

Additionally, Bosomtwe Girls STEM SHS has rapidly risen to prominence as one of Ghana’s top STEM institutions though it is just 4 years. The student body at Bosomtwe Girls STEM SHS, which has female students from all around Ghana, is renowned for its dedication to diversity and inclusiveness. In fact, the Girls STEM SHS is doing massive to support STEM education for females in the country. The school is trying to close the gender gap in STEM by giving girls the knowledge and abilities they need to excel in those disciplines. The prospects for Bosomtwe Girls STEM SHS and its students are above the horizon.
